Show me your windscreen
It has come time for me to replace my windscreens - they were folded lexan and are starting to show some age. I was going to replace them with a three piece windscreen with an aluminum frame. I wanted to see what others have done to get ideas of what works best.

The three piece windscreens have the classic route, but mine is the common curved plexi.

Mine are copies of a PT-26. I just measured and made it fit.
They are all aluminum with lexan inserts helb by screws and nuts.
Front people say it's just fine but I get lots of wind in the back.

PT-26 had a sliding hatch, PT-19 was open cockpit. PT-26 was my first airplane, over 50 years ago. The 26 had a 200 hp Ranger vs 175hp in the 19. My 26 had 210hp Ranger out of a Wigin anfib converted to Lycomings. Had to burn 45 cent/gal 100 oct instead of 80.

Actually, it is a PT-26.
It originally had a sliding canopy but the owner went open cockpit.
I've flown it several times and it is a sweet ride!
