A while back I drove out to Sweetwater and had a look at this plane. The plane needs a little work and since I was looking for a flyer instead of a project, I passed on it but told the seller I would post it here. The plane and fabric look to be in nice shape and the plane was flown at some point last year.
I ordered the info disk on the plane from the FAA and discovered N23KD was s/n 2 built by Dudley Kelly in 1983. I'm a sucker for history and thought someone here on the forum might be interested.
