Fuel Tank Question
Below is a picture of the fuel outlet on the bottom of the Hanson Hatz center section. There is a nice looking cover plate held by three screws and was wondering if these covers are fabricated or an available item? If available where can they be purchased? If fabricated are they hammer formed or spun?

Re: Fuel Tank Question
Hi Ebby,
I found a plastic ball of the right size and cut a section from it and glued it to a piece of plywood. Then I used another piece of scrap plastic (orange) and nailed it to the ply wood. I laid 6 layers of fiberglass over it. When cured I drew a circle and cut the outline and then drilled a 5/8 hole in the center. Very easy. They are held on with #4 x 1/4 screws.
