Gentlemen,
I have watched your progress from various websites for the last couple of months, and I just joined this forum for the express purpose of wishing you a hearty congratulations on your first flight! You have built one of the most beautiful and well-sorted airplanes I have ever seen. You should be proud.
We hope to see you and your Hatz at Oshkosh some day.

Fly safely, and keep those pictures and videos coming.

Excellent!
And thanks for the pictures.
You now have experienced one of the great pleasures in life; to have completed, flown and shared the experience of building an airplane. It's a wonderful experience.
Now...... how to get it to Broadhead........?

Congratulations,

what speeds are you using for approach and touch down?

Landings can be exciting. Sometimes several landings for a single approach.

Dear John,

As our airspeed meter is not yet calibrated, we don't want to publish those values at this time. However, we will publish this data later on. One thing is for sure: Our prop is overpitched and we have to collect this specific data in order to have built a new prop. Included another air to air picture to share.
An intersting note: We experienced that the tailplane incidence at 1.3° was too high - we lowered it to the plans setting, which is about 0.6°. It seems, that is still a bit too high and we will lower it some below the plans setting.
