- As you can you can see by the curl of the skin due to spring back it requires tweaking afterwards in the brake to finish. It is a lot of work but I have more time than money.

- I am feeding from my left and indexing the previous corrugation in 2nd groove. I found that when I held the sheet in the 2nd groove that the spacing widened. I then tried using my left hand on the feed side sheet when starting the press it worked perfectly. Creates scrap until you get it right.

Another use for a press like this would be making the round fairings for the fuel tank outlets. I made mine with fiber glass but it would be easy to punch them out from soft aluminum. The press is available from Harbor Freight for a pretty reasonable price. The forms could be turned out on a lathe using cherry or maple wood.
